I always get a kick out of it when Europeans are SO IMPRESSED when they find out I have driven six or eight hours. They're always flabbergasted, and I'm like dude you have to drive six hours from my house just to get out of Texas. In college, I literally never batted an eye at driving an hour one way to get to school. It only occurred to me how (globally) weird that is as an adult.
